Job summary

Generations LLC is seeking caregivers to support residents with activities of daily living in a senior living setting. You will follow resident care plans and collaborate with leadership to ensure quality care and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for resident interaction.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow care plans.
• CPR/First Aid certification is beneficial and training may be provided.
• Pass pre-employment background checks and be dependable.

Job description

Caregivers at Somerset Assisted Living assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generations Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule:

• - Full-time from 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
• - Part-time from 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
• - Full-time from 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
• - 4 days on/2 days off rotating schedule
• - 8-hour shifts
• - Holiday availability preferred

Requirements:

• - High school diploma or equivalent
• - Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred, but not required.
• - Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
• - CPR/First Aid certification - training is available upon hire.
• - Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• - Good communication and interpersonal skills
• - Compassionate and patient
