Job summary

Generations is seeking caring caregivers for our senior living communities. You will assist residents with daily activities and follow care plans with dignity and respect. Our team is dedicated to safe, compassionate service and aligns with our mission and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred, but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification – training is available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient

Job description

Caregivers at Mercer Commons assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule

• Full-time Working 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
• Full- time Working 2:00 pm- 10:00 pm
• Full- time working 10:00 pm- 6:00 am
• 8-Hour shifts
• Weekends needed and holiday availability preferred

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
