Job summary

English Rose is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide personalized care for residents living with Alzheimer's, dementia, and complex medical conditions across six upscale residential homes in Edina and Minnetonka.

With a 1:3 caregiver-to-resident ratio and comprehensive paid training, you will build meaningful relationships and assist with daily activities, meals, medications, and coordinate with the team to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Paid training provided.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stay active during shifts.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers).

Location: Edina, MN (Residential Care Homes)

Pay: $17.00–$24.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications

Shifts Available:

• AM: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM


• PM: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM


• Full-time and part-time opportunities


• Every other weekend required

About the Role

English Rose is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide exceptional care and meaningful engagement for residents living with Alzheimer's, dementia, and complex medical conditions.

Our six beautiful, upscale residential care homes in Edina and Minnetonka each serve just six residents, offering a warm, comfortable alternative to larger assisted living and memory care communities.

With our 1:3 caregiver-to-resident ratio, you'll have the time to build meaningful relationships and provide personalized, high-quality care. It's the very reason you decided to become a caregiver, isn't it?

Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required. Paid training is provided.

What You'll Do

• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfers.


• Prepare meals, assist with medications, and provide housekeeping and laundry services.


• Lead and participate in meaningful activities that support residents' social, emotional, and overall well-being.


• Follow individualized care plans, document care, report changes in residents' conditions, and collaborate with team members.

What We're Looking For

• Compassionate, dependable individuals who enjoy helping others and building relationships.


• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to understand care instructions, communicate with residents and team members, respond to emergencies, and accurately document resident care.


• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and remain active throughout shifts.


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Preferred, but not required:

• CNA, HHA, PCA, Resident Assistant, or other caregiving experience.


• Dementia or complex care experience.


• Meal preparation, cooking, and housekeeping skills.
