Job summary

English Rose in Edina, MN is seeking compassionate caregivers for part-time and full-time roles in private residences. Shifts include 5-hour and 12-hour options with AM, PM and Overnight times, paid at $20–$24 per hour.

Caregivers work under an RN-led team to deliver personalized, one-on-one care to clients living with Alzheimer's, dementia and other conditions. You will provide companionship, personal care, mobility help, meal support, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and safe

Qualifications

• Previous one-on-one caregiving or home care experience preferred.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, hospice or complex care is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow detailed care plans.
• Fluent in English with strong written documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation and meaningful engagement.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transfers.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating.

Private Caregiver | Part-Time - Full-Time

Available Shifts: 5 hour shifts & 12 hour shifts

Pay: $20-$24/hour

English Rose Home Care provides personalized, one-on-one care in clients' private residences for people living with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other complex medical conditions. Our Home Care team is led by a Registered Nurse (RN), who provides clinical oversight and support to our caregivers.

We're looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers who are comfortable working independently. Because we serve clients throughout the Twin Cities with different care needs and shift times, we can work with caregivers who have a variety of schedules, and we work to match you with opportunities that fit your availability.

We have home care clients throughout the Twin Cities metro area, including many in Edina.

What You'll Do

Depending on the client's individualized care plan, your day may include:

• Providing companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Helping with mobility and transfers
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating
• Providing medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing transportation or assistance with errands
• Following individualized care plans and documenting care accurately
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition

What We're Looking For

• Previous one-on-one caregiving or home care experience preferred
• Experience supporting people with Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, hospice, or other complex care needs is a plus
• Comfortable working independently and following detailed care instructions
• Strong communication and engagement skills
• Comfortable providing personal care to both female and male clients
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license
• Fluent in English with strong written documentation skills

Training & Support

Caregivers receive paid, in-person training with our experienced team, along with hands‑on, client‑specific training in the client's home. Our RN‑led Home Care team provides ongoing oversight and support so caregivers have the information and guidance they need to provide confident, high‑quality care.
