Job summary

English Rose is seeking a full-time caregiver (CNA, HHA, PCA) to join our team and provide care and engagement for residents in our Edina homes. Our staff-to-resident ratio is 1:3, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with residents. Wage range is $17-$24 per hour based on experience and certifications.

Shift is 2 PM to 10 PM with alternating weekends. Qualifications include compassionate caregiving, ability to lift 50 pounds, strong English communication, and a caring, professional

Qualifications

• All caregivers must demonstrate compassionate, relationship-focused care.
• Dementia care experience is a plus but not required.
• Must have strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Shift includes 2p-10p with every-other weekend.
• CNA/HHA/PCA credentials encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to Residents with dementia and complex medical conditions.
• Support Residents by preparing meals, distributing medications, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Follow programming plans to engage residents and enhance well-being.

Job description

English Rose is seeking a FT Caregiver - (CNA, HHA, PCA) to join our team to provide care & engagement with our residents.

Our staff to resident ratio is 1: 3 in our homes so you can focus on providing exceptional care and build those relationships with your residents. It's the very reason you decided to become a caregiver, isn't it?

Wage Range: $17 - $24 per hour based on experience, certification & expertise.

Shift times

2p-10p (every other weekend required).

Required Qualifications

• Relationship focused compassionate caregiver (HHA, Resident Assistant, PCA, CNA)
• Passion for leading engaging activities with residents to ensure their holistic well-being
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds and be on your feet for majority of your shift
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
• Professional and positive attitude
• Cooking & cleaning experience (preferred)
• Valid Drivers License (preferred)
• Dementia Care experience a plus (but not required)

Primary Responsibilities of our Resident Assistants

• Provide direct care to Residents with dementia and complex medical conditions.
