Job summary

English Rose seeks a full‑time caregiver to join our team providing compassionate care and engagement for residents. The role supports residents with dementia, meals, medications, and daily activities in a home-like setting.

You will work closely with a small team to maintain a high standard of care and meaningful relationships with residents, with shift times 2p-10p and every other weekend required.

Qualifications

• Caregiver with HHA, Resident Assistant, PCA or CNA certification preferred.
• Ability to engage residents in activities and promote holistic well‑being.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents with dementia and complex medical conditions.
• Support residents with meals, distributing medications, housekeeping and laundry services.
• Follow programming plans to provide meaningful engagement for residents.

Job description

English Rose is seeking a FT Caregiver - (CNA, HHA, PCA) to join our team to provide care & engagement with our residents.

Our staff to resident ratio is 1: 3 in our homes so you can focus on providing exceptional care and build those relationships with your residents. It's the very reason you decided to become a caregiver, isn't it?

Wage Range: $17 - $24 per hour based on experience, certification & expertise.

Shift times: 2p-10p (every other weekend required).

Required Qualifications

• Relationship focused compassionate caregiver (HHA, Resident Assistant, PCA, CNA)
• Passion for leading engaging activities with residents to ensure their holistic well-being
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds and be on your feet for majority of your shift
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
• Professional and positive attitude
• Cooking & cleaning experience (preferred)
• Valid Drivers License (preferred)
• Dementia Care experience a plus (but not required)

Primary Responsibilities Of Our Resident Assistants

• Provide direct care to Residents with dementia and complex medical conditions.
• Support Residents by preparing meals, distributing medication, housekeeping and laundry services,
• Follow programming plans to provide meaningful engagement for the enrichment of our residents lives.
