Job summary

Exhava Home Care in California is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home personal care and support for clients. You will assist with bathing, grooming, meal prep, medications reminders, companionship, safety, and light housekeeping according to each client’s plan.

Valid HHA registration in California, TB test or chest X-ray, and a driver’s license with insurance are required; you must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Compassionate caregiving with a focus on client comfort and safety.
• Reliable team member who communicates well with clients and families.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and hold a valid driver’s license with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and remind about medications per care plan.
• Offer companionship and engaging activities to clients.
• Provide patient, respectful behavioral support as needed.
• Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry as required.
• Prior caregiving experience is a plus.

As a Caregiver, you will provide personal care and daily support to our clients while helping them remain safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible in the comfort of their own homes.

Your Role

As a Caregiver, you will provide compassionate and dependable support based on each client's individual needs and care plan. Your responsibilities may include:

• Personal Care Assistance – Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living.

• Meal Preparation & Medication Reminders – Prepare meals, assist with feeding when needed, and provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan.

• Companionship & Engagement – Provide meaningful companionship, conversation, and engaging activities.

• Behavioral Support – Provide patient, respectful guidance and reassurance when needed.

• Safety & Comfort – Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for our clients.

• Light Housekeeping – Assist with maintaining a clean and organized living environment.

• Prior caregiving experience is a plus

• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration

• Current TB test result or chest X-ray, as required by applicable regulations

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Valid driver's license and active auto insurance
