Job summary

Silver Creek - Woodburn , OR is seeking Holiday Caregivers to join our team. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, health monitoring, and providing companionship within a vibrant senior living community.

We offer multi-shift opportunities (DAY, SWING, NOC) and on-call for major holidays with time-and-a-half pay; full-time or part-time seasonal roles may follow the season. Join us in delivering compassionate elder care with innovation.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide personal care for elders including bathing and mobility.
• Adept at observing and reporting health or behavioral changes.
• Strong communication with residents and staff in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Observe and document changes in health or behavior for Wellness Team.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Support residents in social and recreational activities.
• Communicate with residents, families, and team members.
• Help maintain a clean and tidy living environment.

What You’ll do

As a Care Partner, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.

What You’ll Bring

• You will bring a willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
• You will bring good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
• You will bring licensing documentation (if required by your state) and be able to pass a criminal background check.
• You will bring the ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
