Job summary

Woodland Palms - Tucson, AZ is seeking Care Partners to join our team for the 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shift. The role involves providing compassionate personal care, health monitoring, and companionship to our residents in a senior living setting.

Qualifications include caregiver certification (where required by state), ability to pass a background check, and strong English communication with residents and coworkers. Benefits are available for all team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for elders (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility)
• Monitor health and document changes for Wellness Team
• Offer emotional support and companionship
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed
• Support residents in social and recreational activities
• Communicate with elders, families, and team members
• Assist with light housekeeping and maintain a clean environment

We are looking for Caregivers for our 2p-10p shift, $18-$19 DOE.

What You’ll do

As a Care Partner, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.

What You’ll Bring

• You will bring a willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
• You will bring good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
• You will bring licensing documentation (if required by your state) and be able to pass a criminal background check.
• You will bring the ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
