The Suites - Grants Pass, OR is seeking compassionate Care Partners to assist seniors with daily living activities in a lively, supportive community. You will provide personal care, monitor health, and offer companionship to residents in a team-oriented setting.

The role includes helping with meals, engaging in activities, and maintaining a clean living environment while communicating with residents and families. Position offers full-time or part-time shifts with rotating schedules.

Qualifikationen

• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
• Good verbal communication; read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
• Licensing documentation (if required by your state) and ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.

Aufgaben

• Provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Observe, document, and report health or behavior changes to Wellness Team.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with meals and potentially feed residents who need support.
• Engage in social and recreational activities to enhance wellbeing.
• Communicate with residents, families, team members, and guests.
• Light housekeeping and maintaining general cleanliness.

Shift is for AM- 5:30am-2pm and PM 1:30pm-10pm----days are 4 on 2 off rotating schedule.

What You’ll do

As a Care Partner, you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.
