Job summary

Interim HealthCare is hiring in-home Caregivers / HHAs to support seniors and other clients in Whitehall, MI. The role offers $17/hour starting pay with same-day/next-day pay options and weekly pay, plus scheduling flexibility and local assignments.

Caregivers provide personal care, daily living support, meals, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship while following care plans and reporting changes to supervisors. EEO committed to equal opportunity.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of adult caregiving experience or CNA certification.
• Two positive professional or personal references.
• Compassionate, dependable, and respectful approach to client care.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and daily support to seniors and other clients.
• Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping, shopping, and transportation.
• Providing companionship and engaging clients in activities they enjoy, such as games, puzzles, reading, and hobbies.
• Assisting with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Providing medication reminders and reporting changes in a client's condition to your supervisor.
• Maintaining a safe home environment, including keeping pathways clear and free of hazards.
