Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking compassionate Caregivers / Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide quality in-home care to seniors and clients in Grand Haven, MI. You can choose full-time, part-time, or PRN assignments that fit your schedule, with options near your home.

You will deliver hands-on care, companionship, and support to help clients stay safe and comfortable at home, with duties including personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and medication reminders.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of prior adult caregiving experience OR completion of a CNA course/certificate.
• Capable of providing personal care and daily support to clients.
• Must be compassionate, dependable, and respectful in client care.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and daily support to seniors and other clients
• Assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping, shopping, and transportation
• Providing companionship and engaging clients in activities they enjoy
• Assisting with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
• Providing medication reminders and reporting changes to supervisor
• Maintaining a safe home environment and following care plans

What You'll Do

As a Caregiver/HHA, you’ll provide hands-on care, companionship, and support that helps clients remain safe, independent, and comfortable at home.

• Providing personal care and daily support to seniors and other clients
• Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping, shopping, and transportation
• Providing companionship and engaging clients in activities they enjoy, such as games, puzzles, reading, and hobbies
• Assisting with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
• Providing medication reminders and reporting changes in a client's condition to your supervisor
• Maintaining a safe home environment, including keeping pathways clear and free of hazards
• Providing care and support as directed by the care plan, supervisor, and applicable policies and regulations

What We're Looking For

• At least 6 months of prior adult caregiving experience OR completion of a CNA course/certificate
• Two positive professional or personal references
• Compassionate, dependable, and respectful approach to client care
• Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors and the care team
