Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Caregiver/Home Health Aide (HHA) in Caledonia, MI to provide compassionate in-home care and support for seniors and clients. You’ll choose assignments that fit your schedule, with full-time, part-time, and PRN options, and enjoy benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance.

Responsibilities include personal care, daily living support, meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and ensuring safety per the care plan.

Qualifications

• 6 months of caregiving experience OR completion of a CNA course/certificate.
• Two positive professional or personal references.
• Compassionate, dependable, and respectful approach to client care.
• Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors and the care team.

What You'll Do

As a Caregiver/HHA, you'll provide hands-on care, companionship, and support that helps clients remain safe, independent, and comfortable at home.

• Providing personal care and daily support to seniors and other clients
• Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping, shopping, and transportation
• Providing companionship and engaging clients in activities they enjoy, such as games, puzzles, reading, and hobbies
• Assisting with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
• Providing medication reminders and reporting changes in a client's condition to your supervisor
• Maintaining a safe home environment, including keeping pathways clear and free of hazards
• Providing care and support as directed by the care plan, supervisor, and applicable policies and regulations

What We're Looking For

• At least 6 months of prior adult caregiving experience OR completion of a CNA course/certificate
• Two positive professional or personal references
• Compassionate, dependable, and respectful approach to client care
• Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors and the care team
