Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Kalamazoo, MI seeks a compassionate Caregiver/HHA to provide hands-on care and companionship to seniors at home. You can choose full-time, part-time, or PRN assignments to fit your schedule.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and medication reminders, while following care plans and reporting updates to your supervisor.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of prior adult caregiving experience OR completion of a CNA course/certificate.
• Two positive professional or personal references.
• Compassionate, dependable, and respectful approach to client care.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and daily support to seniors and other clients.
• Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping, shopping, and transportation.
• Providing companionship and engaging clients in activities they enjoy, such as games, puzzles, reading, and hobbies.
• Assisting with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Providing medication reminders and reporting changes in a client's condition to your supervisor.
• Maintaining a safe home environment and following care plans and policies.

What You'll Do:

As a Caregiver/HHA, you’ll provide hands‑on care, companionship, and support that helps clients remain safe, independent, and comfortable at home.
