Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Eaton Rapids, MI is seeking compassionate Caregivers / Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide quality in-home care to seniors and other clients who want to remain safely at home. You can choose full-time, part-time, or PRN opportunities that fit your schedule.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, meal preparation and light housekeeping, companionship, medication reminders, and reporting changes to your supervisor.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of prior adult caregiving experience OR completion of a CNA course/certificate.
• Two positive professional or personal references
• Compassionate, dependable, and respectful approach to client care

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and daily support to seniors and other clients
• Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping, shopping, and transportation
• Providing companionship and engaging clients in activities they enjoy, such as games, puzzles, reading, and hobbies
• Assisting with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
• Providing medication reminders and reporting changes in a client's condition to your supervisor
• Maintaining a safe home environment, including keeping pathways clear and free of hazards
• Providing care and support as directed by the care plan, supervisor, and applicable policies and regulations
