Job summary

Live Well Homecare seeking a caring Caregiver to help seniors with daily living activities in Westmont, IL. You will follow care plans, promote safety and independence, and engage residents in conversations and activities to keep them stimulated.

You will communicate with families and the care team, assist with dining services, and tailor experiences for Memory Care residents, contributing to a supportive and respectful homecare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow and document care plans, noting any changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence for residents.
• Engage residents in conversation and daily activities to foster a stimulating environment.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming setting.
• Communicate effectively with residents' families and care team members.
• For Memory Care residents, create enriching experiences tailored to memory loss needs.
