Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a compassionate home care aide to support residents with daily living activities and to help maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging environment in Westmont, IL.

You will follow care plans, document changes, and collaborate with families and the care team to tailor experiences, including memory care activities, while promoting dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, age 18 or older.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow and document care plans, noting any changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence for residents.
• Engage residents in conversation and daily activities to foster a stimulating environment.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming setting.
• Communicate effectively with residents’ families and care team members.
• For Memory Care residents, create enriching experiences tailored to memory loss needs.
