Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut is hiring caregivers to provide non-medical home care across multiple CT service areas. Flexible schedules include weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in options; competitive hourly pay plus referral bonuses and benefits.

You will follow each client's Plan of Care, transport to appointments, assist with daily tasks, and provide companionship while maintaining dignity and independence. A valid driver's license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence - offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day
