Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. is seeking a compassionate CAREGIVER for our Westmont of Santa Cruz community. Assist residents with daily living activities, maintain a safe, homelike environment, and support meals and daily tasks.

Join our team to provide attentive care, observe changes in condition, and help residents maintain independence in a warm, community setting.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting residents with ADL tasks (showering, Toileting, dressing).
• Ability to observe safety and report changes to supervisor.
• Willingness to perform housekeeping and meal assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including showers, toileting, dressing, undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers, ambulation.
• Keeping environment safe and clean, some housekeeping, making beds, assisting with meals and personal laundry.
• Observing residents for safety and reporting changes to supervisor.

What we need from you:

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including assisting with showers, assisting with toileting, dressing, undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers, ambulation, and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan

• Keeping environment safe and clean for all residents, including some housekeeping tasks, making beds, assisting with meals, and personal laundry

• Observing residents for safety, and reporting any change of condition or other pertinent information to supervisor
