Savant of Alhambra seeks a compassionate Caregiver to join our dedicated team and help deliver high-quality senior care in a warm community setting.

You will assist with daily living activities, provide medication reminders, and support residents under the Wellness Director, fostering a safe, inclusive environment for all residents.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to meet state regulations for care.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant care experience a plus.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Report to Wellness Director and provide direct care and medication reminders.
• Assist with activities of daily living: grooming, hygiene, bathing, and transfers.
• Support residents and ensure a safe, respectful environment.

What you will do:

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.


• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.


• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

Must haves

• Must be 18+ years old


• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.


• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations


• May need to possess current CPR


• Speak read and understand English fluently.

• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.


• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.
