Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut is hiring to provide non-medical home care and companionship across multiple service areas. Flexible scheduling includes weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in shifts with competitive hourly pay and referral bonuses.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to pass a background check. Training is provided, and healthcare benefits are available for eligible staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence—offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping

• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED

• Open availability preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, HBA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus
