Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care, transportation, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship according to each client's Plan of Care. The role offers flexible shifts—Weekdays, Weekends, Overnights, and Live-In options—with competitive hourly pay and referral bonuses.

You will assist with mobility, dressing, bathing, and daily activities while documenting care and maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
