Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is hiring across Connecticut for non-medical home care professionals. We offer flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in options, with an hourly pay rate and referral bonuses. Our caregivers provide companionship and support following each client’s care plan.

You may have access to benefits such as medical/dental, 401(k), and ongoing training. A valid driver’s license and background check are required for this role, with open availability

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
