Companions & Homemakers is Hiring in CT. We offer flexible shifts across weekdays, weekends, overnights and live-in options, with a competitive hourly pay and referral bonuses. Join a trusted home-care team serving Connecticut seniors for over 35 years.

As a caregiver, you will provide non-medical care per Plans of Care, transport clients, assist with daily activities, and help with meals and light housekeeping. Start with supportive onboarding and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience providing non-medical home care
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care
• Be a steady, caring presence—offer companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed

Your Day-to-Day

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Open availability preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus
