Job summary

Interim HealthCare Personal Care and Support is seeking compassionate Caregivers/Home Health Aides (HHAs) to deliver in-home care to seniors and clients who wish to stay at home. We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN options with flexible scheduling and locations, plus health and retirement benefits.

You will provide personal care, companionship, and daily support, ensuring safety and comfort for clients in their homes. This role emphasizes independence, teamwork, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• 6 months of caregiving experience or completion of a CNA course/certificate.
• Two positive professional or personal references.
• Compassionate, dependable, and respectful approach to client care.
• Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors and the care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care, companionship, and support to help clients remain safe and comfortable at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping, shopping, and transportation.
• Engage clients with activities they enjoy such as games, puzzles, reading, and hobbies.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and report changes to your supervisor.
• Maintain a safe home environment and follow care plans and policies.

What You'll Do:

As a Caregiver/HHA, you’ll provide hands-on care, companionship, and support that helps clients remain safe, independent, and comfortable at home.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing personal care and daily support to seniors and other clients
• Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping, shopping, and transportation
• Providing companionship and engaging clients in activities they enjoy, such as games, puzzles, reading, and hobbies
• Assisting with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
• Providing medication reminders and reporting changes in a client's condition to your supervisor
• Maintaining a safe home environment, including keeping pathways clear and free of hazards
• Providing care and support as directed by the care plan, supervisor, and applicable policies and regulations

What We're Looking For:

• At least 6 months of prior adult caregiving experience OR completion of a CNA course/certificate
• Two positive professional or personal references
• Compassionate, dependable, and respectful approach to client care
• Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors and the care team
