Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is seeking caring home care aides to support CT clients across multiple service areas. You will provide non-medical care, companionship, and practical assistance in clients' daily routines.

This role offers flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in options, with competitive hourly pay and referral bonuses. Valid driver’s license and a background check are required, with open availability preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed
