Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is hiring caregivers to provide non-medical home care across Connecticut. You’ll follow individualized plans of care, help with daily activities, and transport clients as needed.

We welcome compassionate individuals with a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check. Flexible weekday and weekend shifts available, including live-in possibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance with reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client’s Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence—offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day
