Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is hiring Home Care Aides to provide non-medical support across Connecticut. You will follow each client’s Plan of Care, assist with daily tasks, and accompany them on appointments, all while delivering compassionate companionship.

Flexible shifts include weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in options. We offer a competitive hourly rate with direct deposit, paid time off, holiday pay, medical/dental/401(k) benefits, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
