Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is seeking caring individuals to join our CT home care team. We offer flexible schedules across weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in shifts, with an hourly pay structure and referral bonuses.

You will provide non-medical care per each client’s Plan of Care, drive clients to appointments, assist with light housekeeping, meals, and errands, and offer companionship and support in a respectful, family-like environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
