Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is hiring across Connecticut to provide compassionate, non-medical home care. You will follow each client's Plan of Care, transport to appointments, assist with daily tasks, and offer companionship. Strong communication helps ensure quality care and client comfort.

The role supports flexible weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in shifts with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day
