Companions & Homemakers is hiring compassionate caregivers to support seniors in their homes across Connecticut. We offer flexible shifts, including overnights and live-in options, with competitive hourly pay and direct deposit.

Join a trusted, 35+-year organization that treats caregivers like family. You will provide non-medical care per Plan of Care, transport clients, help with daily tasks, and offer companionship, with ongoing training and benefits.

Formación

• Experience as a caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or companion is a plus.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check is required.
• Open availability to accommodate flexible shifts is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meals, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence and provide companionship.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Open availability preferred
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus
