Job summary

Savant Senior Living in Burbank, CA is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our compassionate team. You will provide direct resident care and assist with daily activities, under the supervision of the Wellness Director.

We value teamwork, mission commitment, and a passion for quality senior care. Applicants should have CPR and First Aid certifications, strong English communication, and the ability to lift and transfer residents safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• First Aid certification.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living: grooming, hygiene, bathing, transfers.
• Support residents during meals and activities under supervision.

What you will do:

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.
• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

Must haves:

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• current CPR
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations
• Speak read and understand English fluently.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.

Pay rate $20.00 -22.50per hour
