Job summary

Parkview Estates in Kennewick, WA is seeking caring CNAs or HCAs to support our senior residents with daily living, medication assistance, meals, and social activities. You will report to the wellness director and follow individualized resident service plans.

Preferred candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving; training is provided for newcomers. A clean, respectful demeanor, and the ability to document in English are valued.

Qualifications

• Preferred CNA/HCA license.
• Six months of experience in senior caregiving recommended.
• Compose reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow resident service plans including assistance, bathing, grooming, medication administration, and other ADLs.
• Communicate concerns about residents and facility conditions with the team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and home-like environment for residents and staff.
• Follow infection control procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Comply with regulatory standards and incident reporting guidelines.
• Interact with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff.

• Follow the resident service plan including; assistance, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other activities of daily living (ADLs), noting changes in the resident condition.
• Communicate problems, concerns, and issues with resident apartments, buildings, and grounds with an appropriate team member.
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
• Comply with regulatory standards and OSHA guidelines, and incident reporting guidelines.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
• Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment for residents.
