Job summary

Fox Hollow Independent & Assisted Living in Bend, OR is seeking caring individuals to join our team as caregivers who support residents with daily living activities, medication assistance, and social activities.

You will follow resident service plans, maintain a safe environment, follow infection control procedures, and communicate with residents, families, and staff; prior experience preferred but training is provided, and English reporting is required.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in senior caregiving; training provided if new to healthcare.
• Exude a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe demeanor.
• Compose reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow resident service plan including assistance, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other ADLs.
• Communicate problems with resident apartments, buildings, and grounds with an appropriate team member.
• Maintain a clean, neat, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
• Comply with regulatory standards and OSHA guidelines, and incident reporting guidelines.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
• Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment for residents.

As a caregiver, you assist our senior residents in their daily well-being, including personal services, medication assistance, social-recreational activities, meal services, and other tasks. You will report to the wellness director.

You Will

• Follow the resident service plan including; assistance, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other activities of daily living (ADLs), noting changes in the resident condition.
• Communicate problems, concerns, and issues with resident apartments, buildings, and grounds with an appropriate team member.
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
• Comply with regulatory standards and OSHA guidelines, and incident reporting guidelines.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.

You Currently

• Preferred candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving. If new to healthcare, we will train.
