Job summary

Regency Pullman is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist our senior residents with daily well-being on site. You will follow care plans, help with ADLs, administer medications as directed, and provide social and meal support in a warm, home-like environment.

Preference for six months of caregiving experience; training will be provided for newcomers. Reports to the wellness director and works as part of a caring team; English reporting required; commitment to safety and infection control.

Qualifications

  • Six months of senior caregiving experience preferred; training provided if new to healthcare.
  • Ability to document reports in English.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the resident service plan including ADLs, assisting with bathing, grooming, medication administration and other daily living activities.
  • Communicate problems or concerns with resident apartments, buildings, and grounds to the appropriate team member.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
  • Comply with regulatory standards and OSHA guidelines and incident reporting guidelines.
  • Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
  • Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment for residents.

We are Regency Pullman, a retirement and assisted living community providing each individual compassionate care in a nurturing environment. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team.

Will Training - Compassionate and Caring Individuals!

As a caregiver, you assist our senior residents in their daily well-being, including personal services, medication assistance, social-recreational activities, meal services, and other tasks. You will report to the wellness director.

You Will
  • Follow the resident service plan including; assistance, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other activities of daily living (ADLs), noting changes in the resident condition.
  • Communicate problems, concerns, and issues with resident apartments, buildings, and grounds with an appropriate team member.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
  • Comply with regulatory standards and OSHA guidelines, and incident reporting guidelines.
  • Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
  • Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment for residents.
You Currently
  • Preferred candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving. If new to healthcare, we will train.
  • Exude a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe demeanor.
  • Compose reports in English.
