Job summary

Consumer Direct Care Network in Green Bay, Wisconsin seeks a patient, positive Direct Care Worker to support a pre-school aged autistic boy at home. You will engage him in developmentally appropriate activities, provide safety and companionship, and help routines.

The role emphasizes caregiving with evenings Friday and Saturday, some shifts as needed, including mealtime, bedtime routine, and light household tasks. CPR/First Aid and a background check are required before hire.

Qualifications

• CPR & First Aid certification required.
• Background check required prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Engage in meaningful interactions with the child.
• Provide companionship by implementing favorite activities into the schedule.
• Meal prepping and feeding.
• Redirect behaviors when needed.
• Assist with cleaning up after toileting and changing pull ups.
• Assist with bedtime routine.

We are seeking a caregiving provider that is patient, positive, and possesses a calm demeanor that can provide safety and companionship to a pre-school aged autistic boy. Your role will be to engage with the child through meaningful, developmentally appropriate activities, while supporting his individual needs and routines.

Schedule & Pay:

Location: Green Bay, WI

• Care provided in child's home and nearby park

Schedule:

• Fridays & Saturdays 4pm-10:30pm
• Saturdays are "as needed"

Hourly Pay:

$10.60

About The Child:

• Playing in the backyard
• Going to the park/going on walks
• Playing with toy cars, stuffed animals, coloring, play dough
• Watching tv/having it on for background noise

Responsibilities:

• Engage in meaningful interactions
