Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support in the Gainesville, FL area. This role offers part-time hours with the potential for up to 40 hours per week, competitive pay, and same-day pay.

You will be responsible for companionship, basic care, and light housekeeping, while building trusted relationships with clients and families. Logged responsibilities include medication reminders, help with daily living activities, and ensuring client safety.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience or active CNA/PCA license preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and basic care in clients' homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living and light housekeeping.

As a Caregiver, you will:

• Provide companionship and social engagement
• Assist with personal care as needed
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Provide medication reminders
• Build positive relationships with clients and families
• Deliver reliable care by being punctual and consistent

Be ready to meet the following qualifications and requirements:

• Active CNA or PCA license, or relevant caregiving experience
• CPR and/or First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB test (chest X-ray or skin test)
• Clear national background check
• Reliable transportation is required, preferably with a valid driver’s license and active insurance
• Open availability, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to work with multiple clients on a rotational basis
