Job summary

Westmont Living Escondido is seeking a compassionate CAREGIVER to assist residents with daily living activities, meals, and personal care in a welcoming senior living community.

You will follow care plans, monitor residents for changes, ensure safety, and collaborate with staff. We offer competitive pay, daily pay, meals, paid holidays, 401K match, tuition assistance, life insurance and EAP program, and ongoing training. We will train you!

Qualifications

• Assist residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping and meals.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for residents.
• Observe residents and report changes to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, and meals.
• Assist with laundry, transfers, and mobility as needed.
• Follow resident care plans and communicate with the team.

What we need from you:

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping tasks, making beds, serving meals,

  • assisting with personal laundry, assisting with showers, assisting with toileting, dressing,

  • undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan.

• Keeping environment safe and clean for all residents.

• Observing residents for safety, and report any change of condition or other pertinent

information to supervisor

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community

• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test

• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
