Job summary

Westmont Living in Escondido, CA seeks compassionate caregivers to support residents with daily living activities and memory care needs. You will assist with meals, personal care, housekeeping, and mobility, in a warm, homelike setting.

Candidate must pass background checks, health screens, and obtain/maintain first aid certification. We offer competitive pay, daily pay options, meals, holidays, and strong benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• Must pass criminal background check and health screenings.
• First aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Ability to assist with daily living activities and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including meals, dressing, bathing and transfers.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, bed making and meal service tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and report changes in condition.

What we need from you:

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping tasks, making beds, serving meals,

  • assisting with personal laundry, assisting with showers, assisting with toileting, dressing,

  • undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan.

• Keeping environment safe and clean for all residents.

• Observing residents for safety, and report any change of condition or other pertinent

information to supervisor

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community

• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test

• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
