Job summary

Westmont Living in Encinitas is seeking a compassionate CAREGIVER for the PM shift to support residents with daily living activities in a warm, homelike community.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, serving meals, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. The role requires passing health screenings and background checks; we offer competitive pay and benefits after a brief waiting period. We provide training and opportunities for growth, plus a benefits package after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and committed caregiver for PM shift.
• Must pass criminal record clearance and health screens.
• Experience with ADL tasks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping, making beds, serving meals.
• Keep environment safe and clean for all residents.
• Observe residents for safety and report changes to supervisor.

What we need from you:

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping tasks, making beds, serving meals,
  • assisting with personal laundry, assisting with showers, assisting with toileting, dressing,
  • undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan.
• Keeping environment safe and clean for all residents.
• Observing residents for safety, and report any change of condition or other pertinent information to supervisor

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community.
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test.
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
