Job summary

Companions & Homemakers across Connecticut seeks caregivers to provide non-medical home care following individualized plans. You will transport clients, assist with daily tasks, and offer companionship to seniors in a supportive home setting.

Flexible scheduling includes weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in options. Benefits include PTO, direct deposit, and a comprehensive package with medical, dental, and 401(k). A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
