Job summary

City Net Homeless Services seeks a Full-Time In-Home Caregiver to help older adults live independently at home. You will assist with personal care, meals, companionship, and safe mobility, creating a supportive living environment.

The role emphasizes compassionate communication, respect for client privacy, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver or similar role is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to earn it soon.
• Ability to assist with transfers and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and dignity during bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Prepare healthy meals and keep living spaces clean.
• Give timely medication reminders and monitor health cues.
• Offer companionship, engage in activities, and accompany clients on errands.
• Support light exercises as directed by professionals.

What You’ll Do

• Personal Care & Dignity – Support bathing, dressing, grooming, and safe mobility.
• Healthy Meals & Home Care – Cook simple, nutritious meals; keep living spaces clean and organized.
• Medication & Wellness – Provide timely reminders and track basic health cues.
• Active Companionship – Chat, play games, take walks, and accompany clients on errands or appointments.
• Light Exercise Support – Assist with stretches or physical-therapy routines as directed by professionals.

What You Bring

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, PCA, or CNA preferred—but a big heart matters most.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to earn it soon).
• Confidence with housekeeping, meal prep, and safe transfer techniques.
• Clear, compassionate communication and respect for client privacy.
• Strength to assist transfers or lift up to 50 lbs when needed.
