Job summary

City Net Homeless Services seeks a compassionate Caregiver for in-home senior care in San Bernardino, CA. You will support daily living, meals, and mobility with dignity. We value reliability and clear communication as you help older adults stay safe and independent at home.

This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement within our agency. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, and training plus mentorship are provided to grow your skills and career.

Qualifications

• Experience as Caregiver/Home Health Aide/PCA/CNA preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to earn it soon.
• Excellent communication and respect for client privacy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and dignity during bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility assistance.
• Prepare healthy meals and maintain a clean, safe living space.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor basic health cues.
• Offer active companionship through conversation, games, walks, and errands.
• Assist with light exercise and mobility as directed by professionals.

What You Bring

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, PCA, or CNA preferred - but a big heart matters most.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to earn it soon).
• Confidence with housekeeping, meal prep, and safe transfer techniques.
• Clear, compassionate communication and respect for client privacy.
