Job summary

City Net Homeless Services is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Caregiver for in-home senior care. Join a compassionate team that values dignity, comfort, and independence for clients at home.

You will help with daily personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and engaging activities to support well-being and safety in a familiar living environment.

Qualifications

• Compassionate caregiver with a patient and respectful approach.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication skills for client and family updates.
• Ability to keep homes clean and organized, with basic housekeeping.
• Provide simple, nutritious meals and monitor daily routines.
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming and safety support.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs.
• Offer reminders for medications and track well-being indicators.
• Offer active companionship, engage in conversations, activities, and transportation as needed.
• Assist with light housekeeping and safe transfers to support independence.
• Light Exercise Support – assist with stretches or routines as directed.

What You’ll Do

• Personal Care & Dignity – Support bathing, dressing, grooming, and safe mobility.
• Healthy Meals & Home Care – Cook simple, nutritious meals; keep living spaces clean and organized.
• Medication & Wellness – Provide timely reminders and track basic health cues.
• Active Companionship – Chat, play games, take walks, and accompany clients on errands or appointments.
• Light Exercise Support – Assist with stretches or physical-therapy routines as directed by professionals.

What You Bring

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, PCA, or CNA preferred—but a big heart matters most.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to earn it soon).
• Confidence with housekeeping, meal prep, and safe transfer techniques.
• Clear, compassionate communication and respect for client privacy.
• Strength to assist transfers or lift up to 50 lbs when needed.
