Job summary

Avera Health is seeking a Communication Specialist Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Careflight Communication Center at Avera McKennan Hospital. You will coordinate training, ensure compliance with CAMTS and FAA, and lead dispatch software development and vendor relationships.

You will supervise and develop staff, interview and hire new team members, and maintain performance standards while promoting Avera's CARE values and patient-focused mission.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Careflight Communication Center and oversee staff.
• Coordinate training for software and operational duties and ensure CAMTS/FAA compliance.
