Job summary

West Virginia University’s Career Center seeks a Career Technology and Data Specialist to administer career development platforms, data systems, and analytics. You will oversee Handsake, uConnect, and chatbot tools while ensuring data accuracy and ADA-compliant user experiences across university stakeholders.

Lead reporting for graduate outcomes, engagement, and program effectiveness; develop dashboards and insights to guide strategic decisions and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience administering, configuring, or supporting web-based platforms or data systems.
• Experience in data cleaning, validation, and reporting.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders on technology improvements.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Career Center technology platforms (uConnect, Handshake, Big Interview, PathwayU, Focus2, Listserv).
• Maintain website accessibility and ADA compliance for user-friendly experience.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations for graduate outcomes and engagement.
• Coordinate data integrations and ensure data accuracy across systems.
• Support institutional reporting requirements and collaborate with partners on data initiatives.
