Job summary

FloridaCommerce is seeking an OPS Customer Service Specialist in Chiefland, FL to monitor and coordinate the delivery of customer service and assist candidates with Career Success activities.

The role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with Employ Florida Marketplace and MS Office, and the ability to work 29 hours per week at $17 per hour. Travel may be required; Tier One training and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Strong written, telephone and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement policies and procedures.
• Ability to meet or exceed performance goals and monitoring standards.
• Proficiency in Employ Florida Marketplace, MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and coordinates the delivery of customer service.
• Inform candidates of available services in the office.
• Assists candidates to complete required Career Success activities.
• Engages in information exchange to ensure candidates are aware of and access CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion reemployment services.
• Critiques and reviews of job candidates' resumes as necessary.
• Utilizes knowledge of phone, email, and business etiquette to handle job candidate and business customer service-related issues.
• May schedule candidates for their first appointment with the Career Development Coach and screen for SBEs and schedule first DVOP appointments as applicable.
• Assists candidates in accessing and using LMI, copiers, fax machines, telephones, internet and other tools.
• Informs and refers candidates to appropriate resources including workshops, computer lab services, and other programs.
• Provides and documents other Wagner Peyser candidate services in EF.
• Supports other online partner agencies online web applications for DCF, UC, and related duties.
