FloridaCommerce in Milton, FL, is seeking an Employment Security Representative I to support job seekers with intake, counseling, and job search services using Employ Florida and related tools. Responsibilities include referrals, resume building, and documenting activities to meet program goals.

The role requires a Level 2 background check, travel within the local counties, and certification as a Workforce Development Professional within 60 days. Salary is $34,760 annually.

Formación

• As a condition of pre-employment eligibility, a Level 2 security background screening is required.
• Travel within Santa Rosa and Escambia Counties is required with occasional overnight travel.
• Must become certified as a Workforce Development Professional (Tier 1) within 60 days.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Meet customer satisfaction and placement goals using Employ Florida, job boards, and community resources.
• Document services in the State database and inform job seekers of CareerSource Escarosa services.
• Coordinate labor exchange services including intake, assessment, counseling, testing, job search, referral and placement.
• Assist customers in building resumes in Employ Florida and entering data in CONNECT/Access Florida.
• Administer tests and assessments as required by employers.
• Respond to and resolve customer complaints per SOP.
• Maintain confidentiality and work as part of the team.
