Job summary

Forward Service Corporation (FSC) is seeking a dedicated WIOA Services Specialist to help individuals overcome barriers and gain employment in Wisconsin. You will assess needs, determine eligibility for WIOA programs, and tailor employment plans under the guidance of the WIOA Team Leader.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, document requirements, and support clients with goal setting using the Transition to Success model and My Dreams workbook, contributing to a community-focused mission.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with two years of related experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a related field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to helping others succeed.

In this role, you'll work under the guidance of our Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act (WIOA )Team Leader to provide individual and group services aimed at enhancing work experience, readiness skills, and job training. Your responsibilities will include mentoring, assessment, and supervision of clients enrolled in various workforce development programs.

Position Overview- Key Responsibilities (Full details on attached job description):

• Determines client eligibility for WIOA services and document program requirements and action steps in accordance with federal and organizational guidelines.
• Conducts comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ skills, aptitudes, work history, and service needs—including supportive services—and develop tailored employment plans based on assessment findings.
• Utilizes the Transition to Success model and the “Map of My Dreams” workbook to assist clients in setting and tracking personal development goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree with two (2) years of work-related experience. Alternatively, a combination of education and relevant experience that demonstrates the necessary skills and qualifications for this position.
