Job summary

Fortis College in Richmond is seeking an energetic Career Services Advisor to support students and graduates in launching successful careers. This full-time role reports to the Director of Career Services and may require some evening and Saturday hours.

The Career Services Representative coordinates and assists in job search and placement, maintains confidential client records, delivers and coordinates presentations, workshops, and seminars, and ensures compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in career counseling and job search assistance preferred.
• Recruiting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist in job search and placement for graduates and students.
• Maintain confidential client and referral records.
• Deliver and coordinate presentations, workshops, and seminars as appropriate to the position.
• Evaluate and resolve student inquiries and problems, and ensure action in compliance with policies.
